The B7 Valve with Cap by Leafield was the next evolutionary step after the A7 Valve. The inner working mechanism of the B7 is identical to the A7 and uses the same repair kit.. It offers all the advantages of the A7 but provides a lower profile and more snag free design. Its rounded mushroom shaped cap fits closely to the surface of the boat. It clamps directly to the boat material and does not require a mounting boot to be glued in. To remove this valve since the working mechanism of the valve is below the surface of your boat fabric, it will require that you cut the boat.
