"Sink the Stink" biologically eliminates odors found in life jackets, spray gear, wet suits, booties, spray skirts etc. It works on any material exposed to fresh or salt water. "Sink the Stink" removes mildew odors, urine odors and any other gnarly smells that can take the fun out your watersports activity.
"Sink the Stink" is packaged in convenient and sturdy pre measured plastic Turtle Packs, 4 oz bottles and gallon jugs. Add a 1/2 oz. Turtle Pack to 5 - 20 gallons of water (never hot -- lukewarm works best -- cold will do). Mix thoroughly. While just a dunk will work with gear that is already wet, best results will be acheived if you immerse your gear and allow to soak (at least 2 minutes for lukewarm water -- 5 minutes for cool water -- 10 minutes for cold water) agitating occasionally. Then hang the gear up to drip dry and air dry. Do not rinse "Sink the Stink" out of the gear. When dry, spray on or dip in 303 Protectant solution to protect your gear from sun fading and other effects of UV exposure and then allow to dry.
How does it work? "Sink the Stink" is a synergistic mixture of four special odor destroying bacteria cultures which are kept in a state of suspended animation while packaged. It has a long shelf life and can be safely stored in temps ranging from 35F to 110F. "Sink the Stink" literally eats the bacteria that cause odors. As soon as "Sink the Stink" is out of food, it quietly expires, leaving behind a safe and clean environment. Do not allow your gear to dry in the sun as the heating action can cause premature death of the organisms - hang in the shade to dry instead.
