| Sam Splints are used world wide as a quick and creative way to immobilize injured joints in emergency and remote situations. The thin aluminum alloy is wedged between 2 layers of closed cell foam. Bendable, washable and reusable, they can even be cut with scissors. They are also incredibly strong when curved. The Flat Folds are available in 3 different lengths - 9", 18" and 36". The most commonly used size suitable for adults and children is the 36". The 18" is useful for adult upper extremities, adult ankles when used in pairs, and in children upper and lower extremity injuries. The 9" is used for wrist support or for IV boards. |
